The reason this page exists is relatively simple.
For a few months now, I have been keeping a journal on a very small USB stick. In it, I talk about the drama that is playing forth in my heart and mind, most of which is intensely religious, and they average, oh, about 800 words each.
I dated each entry very simply and saved it in a no-frills RTF file (ie. 324.rtf). These accumulated. Then I stopped for a while. Then I made the incredible mistake of unsafely removing the drive from a computer. The next time I loaded it up, most of my files were gone.
Somewhere deep inside my little stick, a bit had flipped, and lo, most of my files were gone.
I'm fairly adept at figuring things out on the computer, and, happily, I managed to recover my journal entries. However, in the process, what little organization I had was demolished. I got my documents back in fragments with filenames like FILE00031.CHK. So I had to go back through and reorganize, and, in the process, re-read all of my thoughts.
Since several months had elapsed since my entries, I had completely forgotten the contents of these reflections. I was impressed with and inspired them, and thought them worthy (or nearly worthy) of public presentation. At very least, I wanted them to have a better organization system, such as tag links.
This Wiki is a result of that realization. It is a second level processing of journaled thoughts.
It is a work in progress, much like myself.
As such, I offer these meditations without any guarantees or warranty, but I give them freely for perusal and comment. Reproduction, even.
Kind Regards,
Nathaniel Kidd
